This exciting role of Marketing Manager (Performance and Affiliate Marketing) is a fantastic opportunity to develop and deliver inspiring multi-channel – including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, the FT, and the Economist to name a few – marketing campaigns that position Imperial College Business School’s programmes competitively to the world’s top business students. Duties and responsibilities

Imperial College Business School’s vision is to be a globally excellent business school that ranks amongst the best in the world. The Marketing Manager (Performance and Affiliate Marketing) will deliver a marketing strategy for media and affiliate marketing and plan, implement and measure marketing campaigns for Imperial College Business School’s degree programmes. You will manage a large media advertising budget, working closely with a media agency to deliver campaigns that deliver audience growth in target regions and convert prospective students to applicants.

Working across social media, affiliate partners and higher education media, the leads you generate will feed directly into our CRM, and you will target existing contacts with aspirational media campaigns. You will be the key point of contact for our media agency and you will be responsible for relationship management. You will be responsible for managing the advertising budget for programmes marketing, and ensuring campaigns come in within budget, with a strong return on investment.

Essential requirements

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who can:

  • Develop, implement and review the effectiveness of the programmes marketing strategy and multi-channel campaigns, that generate leads and applications for the School’s degree programmes, and support the School’s brand positioning
  • Management of performance marketing for degree programmes
  • Management of marketing campaigns and third-party profiles via a network of affiliate and higher education partner networks
  • Optimisation of marketing campaigns for engagement and conversion rate – generating event registrations, content downloads, and website engagements
  • Evaluation and reporting on the return on investment of programme marketing activity
  • Ensuring advertising campaigns are providing a rich source of high-quality CRM Contacts for the Business School’s degree programmes
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, including a media agency and global network of higher education partners
  • Ensure that marketing activity is integrated with the activities of other teams involved in the recruitment journey and reflects strategic priorities around programme priorities, quality, and diversity goals.
  • Work with the Head of Programmes Marketing to plan and implement the launch of new programmes
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a Marketing Officer
