Team Summary 

The Partner Marketing Services team within AP Hub is a passionate and dedicated team with a high-performance culture focused on advancing Visa’s Marketing Advisory Services across our client portfolio. This team is responsible for building awareness of our Marketing Services offerings, educating clients and stakeholders on how we support their business and delivering best-in-class Marketing strategies and initiatives tailored to our clients’ objectives. Success is driven through the collaboration with cross-functional and country teams across Visa to accelerate utilisation of Visa Marketing Services to deliver business growth. 

What a Marketing Manager, Marketing Services and Client Marketing, AP does at Visa 

As the Manager, Marketing Services and Client Marketing, AP, you will report to the Senior Director and be responsible for supporting the regional growth of the Marketing Services business. 

In this role, you will be required to collaborate with the Regional and Global Client Marketing community, the greater AP Hub team, as well as AP functional business leads to help develop business growth strategies, best-in-class RFP responses and Marketing Services innovation. You will also be responsible for aiding the Senior Director in Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Growth Strategy exercises (MSO and AOP). 

You will work closely with Visa’s in-country Client Marketing teams to support them in their Marketing Services pitches and proposals, enabling new revenue opportunities and margin growth opportunities to help them meet and exceed their core revenue and average annual net revenue (AANR) targets. You will also be responsible for supporting and delivering Marketing engagements for the regionally-managed Global Client accounts HSBC, Citi and Standard Chartered. 

Success in this role will be measured through revenue and contribution margin attainment, forecast accuracy and stakeholder feedback. 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Services Growth 

  • Support in-country Client Marketing teams in the development of client facing proposals, pricing, and service capabilities. 
  • Lead regional Marketing Services engagements for Global Client accounts HSBC, Citi and Standard Chartered 
  • Work closely with country Client Marketing teams and subject matter experts in the AP Hub to explore the new opportunities for Marketing Services revenue. 
  • Work closely with the Senior Director Client Marketing Services and Client Marketing as well as in-country client marketing teams to develop country, cluster and regional Marketing Services revenue and margin growth strategies. 
  • Lead regional awareness of Marketing Services capabilities, through training and adequate communications. 
  • Develop regional business growth strategies for Marketing Services. 
  • Support all financial and business planning processes.

Why this is important to Visa 

In this role, you will be a critical member of the Partner Marketing Services organization, with responsibilities that cover, but not limited to, overall profit and losses of the Marketing Services function regionally as well as working closely with and supporting in-country marketing teams, to help identify revenue generating Marketing Services opportunities. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

We are looking to hire candidates with an innate ability to grasp and present the value propositions of Visa’s Marketing Services in a way that resonates with our clients and clearly articulates how we solve their problems.

As a candidate you should have;

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 8 years business experience in Marketing or Business Planning or Sales
  • Experience in managing partner relationships required
  • Deep understanding of the Payments Industry and Ecosystem
  • Results oriented strategic thinker who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency
  • Audience-focused mindset, with a demonstrated track record of discovering key insights
  • Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
  • A great team member who adds energy, ideas as well as fun to our team and corporate culture
  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Regional sensibilities and an empathetic outlook to work well with other markets and cultures around the world
