Marketing Manager – Issuer Services – 12 months

The Manager role within the Business Marketing team will lead the delivery and strategy of the marketing plans and activity to support the strategic and commercial goals of Issuer Services from the Capital Markets division of LSEG.

  • A company profile which is clear, visible and attractive to investors
  • Intelligence portal in which they have access to a number of valuable data, including ESG data score, Deals Data Feed, Reuters News and Global Intelligence, financially saving issuers thousands
  • Spark which is an extensive library of educational resources and knowledge drawn from the best thought-leadership across the market
  • In addition, we provide paid for services including our outstanding webcasting service, SparkLive
  • Lastly, we have Marketplace, our network of outstanding companies assembled to support corporates through an IPO or as a public company through a wide range of products and services.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Leads and supports the global strategy and planning process for Issuer Services reporting into the Director of Business Marketing and the wider team
  • Accountable for deploying global strategic direction and ensuring the coordination of all marketing activities (crafting strategic marketing campaigns, creating opportunities to target key audiences ensuring the customer is the priority in our planning, thinking, product launches, large and wide-ranging events, SEO implementation and more) across the function to deliver marketing metrics and excellent results
  • Supporting SparkLive, Intelligence, Spark, Marketplace, ensuring improvement of the overall Issuer Services and London Stock Exchange’s go-to-market plans and objectives
  • Develop and deliver a customer-first, coordinated marketing strategy, conducting competitor analysis and establishing tactical plans that supports core business objectives and ties to key market themes, customer needs and commercial objectives
  • Responsibility for the £350k marketing budget to help achieve our business objectives through thoughtful and strategic campaigns
  • Ensuring each marketing objective/campaign has critical metrics associated to it in order to measure the success and help optimise current and future campaigns, enabling showcasing key results to senior business team members
  • Work with the core, relevant teams to influence and support marketing programs and new product launches and update webpages in line with the SEO strategy, and develop a smoother customer user friendly experience
  • Promote marketing standard process and encourage greater interaction/dialogue between the business, Sales and Central Marketing teams
  • Working with and supporting the wider marketing team, agencies and suppliers to ensure the detailed and timely execution of marketing campaigns and content development
  • Working with the partners to help define client demographics and implement effective segmented campaigns to drive engagement within the platform and/or product lines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, finance or related fields;
  • Moderate Marketing experience in a B2B environment;
  • Validated experience effectively influencing both business and marketing partners;
  • Experience in leading and handling a marketing budget
  • Basic understanding of global equity markets.
