Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

  • Responsible to lead the strategy and action plans of CSDs in LAB North markets (Guatemala, Honduras, ES and Nicaragua)
  • Lead the CSDs agenda, identifying market opportunities with the main objective of designing business and action plans and align them with the bottlers.
  • Also, this position will be responsible of the implementation, deployment and follow up of all the planned actions and deploying the brand’s platforms, as well as evaluating those plans. This position is responsible of the brands KPI’s for each market.
  • Align and adapt regional and global communication platforms to local market needs.
  • Support the local franchise team to build comprehensive strategies to resolve complex business situations and achieve total bottler alignment.
  • Be a key point of contact as well as a building relationship agent with the CBC/Emsula Bottler
  • Closely work whit peers across LAB & LAB CBC region for benchmarking and proposing improvements. The role is expected to deploy with excellency in each country as well as proposing best practices across the region.
  • Lead the launch of CSD products within the region.
  • Lead media strategy supported by Perfect media tools

Your Impact:

As Marketing Manager CSD’s – CAM your scope would consist of

  • Play an active role in the annual planning processes (AOP) by analyzing information to identify market, brand, product, extension line as well target opportunities and design the plans and resources to address those opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of the brand plans established in the AOP: keeping track of their performance in terms of driving incremental volume, building brand equity and ensuring profitability, while making timely adjustments to the plan.
  • Independently build and manage the relationship with bottlers by selling and leading the execution of marketing plans and ensuring smooth and timely deployment of the brand plans. This requires building a multi-functional network within the bottlers.
  • Positively influence the Bottlers and the advertising agencies to get the work done while building a strong personal relationship and being consider as the key point for consultancy.
  • Guarantee an efficient management of the assigned A&M, by controlling spending and keeping track of year to date as well as year to go cooperative budget expenditures and needs for each bottler coop agreement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the brands dynamics and consumer insights and provide PI management with clear analysis about performance indicators on a regular and timely basis.
  • Deliver and control AOP brand commitments with specific Volume, Share and KPI targets measured by monthly tracking performance, with data supplied by Nielsen, Volume reports, among other sources of information.
  • Analyze market and research data on a continuous basis and propose strategies to overcome main areas of opportunity.
  • Manage relation with advertising, media, PR and research agencies to ensure efficient communication and media deployment in accordance with each brand requirements and available A&M
  • Gain full understanding of PepsiCo tools built to deliver a better media experience to consumers by following a close work agenda with LAB total connections team

Qualifications

  • Media and communication knowledge and experience
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (English knowledge of 80% is a must)

Knowledge in FPD (First party data) and optimization tools
