Job Summary

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager’s main responsibility will be executing the company’s marketing strategy to support the sales and marketing department. The Marketing Manager will be the chief inside contact in the absence of the VP of Sales & Marketing and will liaise with, and provide communications and marketing support to our dealer network, outside sales team and customer service throughout Canada and USA. This position will also liaise with our advertising agency and help manage projects and workflow.

Job Duties

  • Develop annual marketing strategies and budgets with the VP of Sales & Marketing.
  • Manage a team of Marketing Assistants using project management software.
  • Manage the dealer co-op advertising program and provide marketing support.
  • Advance company website and social media reach.
  • Develop and manage marketing aids, showroom displays and promotional materials.
  • Provide communications and marketing support to the sales process and dealer network.
  • Coordinate Trade Shows, including display and booth development, and the administration of all aspects of the trade show process.
  • Plan and execute various internal and external special events, seminars and meetings.
  • Coordinate external tasks and liaise with design agencies
  • Facilitate and coordinate product changes, new products as it relates to development, manufacturing, pricing, packaging, promotion and product launches.
  • Develop sale and marketing tools to support and educate dealers on our complete line of products and programs.
  • Conduct market research and focus groups in support of current and future marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary graduate with a Bachelor of Public Relations, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, or a Diploma or Certificate in any of the aforementioned disciplines is preferred. Curriculum covered must have provided the candidate with a core base of marketing knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of sales and/or marketing experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience an asset.
  • Design/production software knowledge an asset.
  • Self-starter able to work independently and proficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills are a necessity.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
