Coders Connect is excited to be partnering with an amazing tech startup who are changing the lives of tradespeople by giving them the tools to excel in a competitive marketplace. Their product is an operating system for tradespeople that helps them serve customers, manage operations and grow their businesses. They have thousands of tradespeople managing hundreds of thousands of jobs on their platform. And are just getting started – their plan for is to scale the business three-fold and their aim is to revolutionize the £45 billion home maintenance marketplace by bringing smart digital experiences to an underserved industry. They are funded by the OVO Group.

We are looking for a creative, analytical and ambitious marketer to lead their efforts in communicating their vision, building their brand and supporting the growth of their passionate community of users. As the first marketer in the team reporting to the CEO, you will have

the opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to define our marketing strategy and to own its execution. You’ll have the autonomy to bring in new tools and best practices and to contract specialist talent to support you in executing the strategy.

What you will do?

• Create compelling product content including case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts and forum responses to articulate the benefits of our products to the world
• Build the Company brand with tradespeople by developing marketing content, online and offline campaigns
• Grow our tradesperson network – develop and execute growth marketing initiatives to expand our audience and user base, work with operations and product to set up onboarding processes
• Engage and retain existing engineer network – content marketing, engagement comms etc. to keep the network engaged with our product
• Grow organic traffic to the companies Direct to Consumer marketplace
• Manage the businesses presence on social media channels – Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Outline campaign objectives and assess performance at critical milestones to ensure we’re on track to reach our ambitious goals
