Job description: Marketing Manager | Bishop’s Stortford | Up to £50k Basic Salary plus Bonus. Dependent on Experience. Long-term, the role offers share options and the opportunity to be part of an MBO. This is a Marketing Manager role that requires a rare individual who thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy. For instance, the role will be one day crafting visually stunning campaigns, and the next diving into data to optimise performance. The role is based in Bishop’s Stortford and requires a balanced blend of design flair and commercial acumen.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive ‘hands on’ Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s brand’s presence. This is a role for a ‘do’er’ rather than outsourcing to third-party agencies, and you’ll be instrumental in developing their digital footprint. From enhancing their website and growing our social media presence to designing impactful visuals and executing data-driven email campaigns, you’ll play a key role.What You’ll Be Doing as the Marketing Manager:

• Keep the website fresh and engaging with regular updates, and play a key role in an exciting upcoming redesign project.
• Cultivate and expand their LinkedIn and other social media presence, crafting compelling posts, fostering engagement, and tracking performance.
• Utilise your Photoshop expertise to create and edit visually appealing marketing materials, ensuring consistent brand identity across all digital platforms.
• Develop, launch, and analyse targeted email campaigns, using analytics to inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with the broader team, contributing your insights to ongoing marketing strategies and campaigns.

Requirements to Apply to the Role of Marketing Manager

• A solid background in a marketing or digital communications role, whether agency or in-house.
• Strong command of Photoshop and other relevant design tools.
• Familiarity with website Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress or similar).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail.
• The ability to analyse marketing performance data, interpret insights, and make informed recommendations.
• A proactive approach to your work with exceptional time management skills.
