Marketing Manager

What You’ll Do

A Marketing Manager at Wintrust manages routine marketing tasks and executes ad-hoc and local marketing initiatives for our community bank charter, commercial banking, and/or niche banking groups. They are the internal face of the client, interfacing directly with key executive stakeholders to ensure local goal alignment with overarching Wintrust-wide growth strategies while providing best-in-class customer service. Marketing Managers must review inbound marketing requests in a timely manner, proactively suggest the best possible marketing solution to meet stakeholder objectives, and oversee project execution from start to finish.

  • Building successful relationships with internal customers to build and grow the business as a key senior stakeholder-facing member of the corporate marketing team.
  • Using innovative marketing strategies to create and execute integrated marketing plans – utilizing a diverse marketing mix of digital and traditional channels.
  • Managing and coordinating marketing initiatives from start to finish with results-driven approach to attain growth goals.
  • Analyzing and presenting results of promotions/campaigns to internal stakeholders with recommended optimizations.
  • Conducting and evaluating market and industry research, and collaborating with internal clients, to effectively identify new potential business opportunities and to upsell products and services.
  • Creating, managing, and reforecasting marketing budgets (P&L management experience preferred).

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years marketing manager experience with agency consulting experience
  • Proven history of building and executing integrated, holistic marketing plans and identifying market opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of evaluating campaign reporting and testing/optimization processes.
  • Digital marketing experience (need someone with familiarity, but doesn’t have to have a digital-focused background).
  • Experience working in project management software (such as Workfront) is a plus. as well as experience working with a Sales Enablement platform (such as Seismic) is a plus
  • Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, etc.
