What You’ll Do
Storyful is seeking a Growth Marketing Director who is entrepreneurial, data focused, and hands on across all areas of the marketing function. They will be responsible for developing and executing customer acquisition campaigns, and focused on acquiring new customers in order to grow the brand. Storyful is looking for an ROI-driven marketer, with knowledge of the financial services and / or pharma sectors to lead marketing efforts for the brand. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the Storyful Intelligence market offering at a pivotal time, as the business looks to transform from a boutique offering to a market leading force in social intelligence. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic individual with a proven track record in achieving growth demand within the digital marketing/ research/ or management consulting industries.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for building brand awareness within our B2B segments, developing marketing acquisition and lifecycle initiatives, sales enablement, delivering a comprehensive content marketing strategy, and driving GTM growth strategies for key industry verticals. The role seeks to integrate responsibility for all external communication content and channel strategies as well as associated measurement and optimization strategies for the business. The ideal candidate will have the editorial experience managing publishing and campaign operations, a keen strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to build and support a successful lead generation program.
Responsibilities:
- Owner of the Storyful brand strategy and responsible for ensuring this is cascaded and embraced within the organization.
- Strategic marketing planning, to create a holistic and balanced approach to support organizational goals while supporting in the development of a robust marketing funnel
- Lead the strategy and execution for B2B demand generation campaigns across all channels, including website, email, conferences, events, memberships, media outreach, and social.
- Management of all aspects of the marketing plan, to include management of an internal team, external vendors and other stakeholders within the business.
- Full responsibility for owned and operated, earned and paid media strategy and implementation.
- Development and maintenance of a suite of GTM materials in conjunction with internal commercial partners.
- Find and build opportunities to rapidly grow and nurture customer acquisition leads as part of the marketing funnel.
- Manage editorial marketing operations for Storyful & Storyful Intelligence across multiple channels including blog, ebooks, webinars, social and newsletters.
- Ensure messaging is edited, accurate, engaging, thought-provoking, consistent in voice and on-brand.
- Nurture extensive stakeholder relationship management, people management and vendor management and combine creative and strategic planning with project management and implementation.
- Manage a yearly content/editorial calendar with periodic deadlines and campaigns.
- Identify relevant topics and work with team and agencies to produce blog posts, thought leadership pieces, ebooks, whitepapers, guides, reports, and copy for landing pages/website.
- Support the sales team with marketing campaigns and promotions to support targeting core audiences.
- Prepare campaign reporting and analysis to Exec team, providing insight into performance metrics.
Requirements:
- +5 years experience in a similar B2B Marketing environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, visual communications and technical skills with a marketing and branding mindset.
- High level of creativity, execution, organization, project management, collaboration, and extreme attention to detail and quality.
- Highly collaborative in nature and enjoy working with and developing editorial pieces with team members on a daily basis.
- Experience working with content marketing software, project management tools, social media management and analytic platforms, email marketing platforms and content management systems. Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and shape a compelling content strategy that aligns with the brand voice, and engages the target audience through channels such as blogs, webinars, company website
- Proven ability to create marketing materials and strategies that communicate product value propositions for different buyers/stakeholders
- Innate motivation, and willingness to work in an autonomous environment – willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
- Ideal candidate will also have a strong design aesthetic with some understanding of design to develop graphics, creative visuals and video for social, blog and email content.
Location: Dublin 2, Ireland
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in office per week – 12 month fixed term contract
