Marketing Data Analyst, Associate

What does a Marketing Data Analyst, Associate do at Fiserv:

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for performing marketing data analytics that are highly focused on support of Digital Financial Solutions and Digital Payments Marketing programs and campaigns that drive a large volume of revenue. The contributions of this role include ensuring all marketing campaign and analytics deliverables are met with a focus on quality, develop expertise and provide guidance in regard to Digital Payments Solutions campaigns and analysis, and serve as a data and analytical subject matter expert within the Marketing Analytics team. You will partner with a high-energy team of marketing consultants and our financial institution partners to provide insights and guidance on campaigns that drive results, as well as revenue.

About our Business:

This position resides within the Financial Institutions Group with a primary emphasis on Digital Solutions and Digital Payments to support our Consumer Marketing and campaign efforts. Fiserv offers a market leading set of digital and payment products and services, including, but not limited to, digital banking, electronic bill payment for both businesses and consumers, person-to-person payments, account-to-account transfers, account opening and funding, and small business invoicing and payments.

What you will do:

o Secures access to and knowledge on data, data sources, query and reporting tools.

o Ensures that all necessary tracking and reporting is established.

o Has overall responsibility for service level performance including accuracy and turnaround. Ensures we have the analytics and insights to drive successful, revenue-generating marketing campaigns and projects

o Supports projects assigned, assuring target dates are achieved, quality is maintained, and processes are followed.

o Assists with process improvement initiatives

o Works directly with Marketing Consultants/Consumer Marketing; manages priorities and deliverables, and addresses issues due to unplanned deliverables or changing timelines.

o Serves as empowered decision maker and escalation point for campaign-related issues.

o Utilize integrated data for use in business-focused analysis and manipulate it to make it usable for analysis by summarizing data points, creating new metrics, and addressing data quality issues

o Conduct data analysis to answer business questions asked by executive management and Fiserv partners. Use data to establish facts and draw valid conclusions, as well as make data-driven campaign recommendations.

What you will need:

o Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Marketing, or related field; Masters’ Degree in similar field a plus

o 3+ years of owning/playing a principal role on a high performing team, responsible for producing and delivering analytics and insights used by internal/external stakeholders to inform and drive business decisions for revenue growth opportunities

o 3+ years in a contributing role within business intelligence or similar organization or playing a key role/deeply engaged in delivering business data analytics

Technical Knowledge:

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio) and various browsers

o Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data profiling.

o Proficient with SAS/statistical analysis and modeling a plus

o Familiar with SAP Business Objects, particularly Design Studio and Lumira a plus
