Marketing Coordinator in Winnipeg, Canada

We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join the Brand Marketing Team as Marketing Coordinator. You will be successful in this position if you thrive in fast-paced environments with a balance of organization, collaboration, and approachability, with a track record of successfully delivering projects from start to finish on time and within budget.

The Marketing Coordinator is a well-versed go-to and is involved in all stages of the Brand Marketing process including strategy, ideation, and execution. They support business results in our stores, community, and digital platforms. They act as a liaison and manage projects between departments, stores, outside vendors, and team members for all brand and marketing-related activities.

THE DETAILS:

You’ll be joining our EQ3 Head Office team at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB, in a full-time capacity. This role supports a hybrid work arrangement.

  • You’ll provide project coordination for all marketing and brand-related activity, including promotions, digital and print campaigns, store launches, pop-ups, major projects, and more

  • You’ll lead large projects in the creation and execution of global and regional brand storytelling and marketing initiatives, including brand and retail moments, community amplifications and product marketing

  • You’ll work in partnership with Brand, Creative, Digital, Product and Community partners, ensuring processes are followed effectively and efficiently

  • You’ll work closely with Strategy and Creative to understand the vision and support in bringing projects to life from brief through delivery, keeping projects on track and on time

  • You’ll build processes and create efficiencies, setting clear timelines and workflow for projects, while continuously improving processes along the way

  • You’ll work with in-market teams to ensure campaigns are localized and adapted for relevance

  • You’ll create directives to set expectations for all marketing and in-store-related brand projects

  • You’ll communicate any risks to a project and work with the team to problem-solve and be a point of support for all cross-functional teams involved in the projects

  • You’ll track subsidiary budgets and flag risks where and when required

  • You’ll partner with Lead Graphic Designer to execute and deliver creative on-time

  • You’ll support with the scheduling and coordination of EQ3’s digital channels including social and email platforms

  • You’ll assist the marketing team with photoshoots, product launches, and event coordination as required

  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant brand/marketing experience

  • Proficiency in various operating systems such as Mac OSX with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Sharepoint, Google Drive and Excel are a plus

  • Experience working with project management tools

  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary marketing, creative teams, and diverse business stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed and effective communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure, maneuver changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables

  • Track record of successfully delivering large projects from start to finish on time and within budget

  • Self-starter who takes initiative with a hands-on approach

  • Ability to integrate diverse information, be flexible, and adaptable to shifting priorities

  • Keenly detail-orientated and organized
