Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated marketing professional with good practical experience, to work across a significant area of marketing activity. This is an exciting time to be working at Manchester Met and this role gives you the chance to play your part in our journey. 

The Marketing Co-ordinator role is a key part of the Brand, Campaigns and Events Team, working across the University and supporting a wide range of projects, campaigns and events.  

Principle accountabilities include: 

  • Providing business as usual and project-specific marketing and communications support for student recruitment along with raising the profile and brand reputation of the University. 
  • Supporting the delivery of high quality, audience-focused online and offline marketing content. 
  • Handling internal and external queries from a range of stakeholders (including the general public and staff), supporting campaigns and collating information for marketing reports.
  • Working as part of a team that is responsible for shaping and implementing the University brand, providing guidance and sharing insight on how we communicate the brand effectively.

In recognition of staff contributions to the University’s achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff.  This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
