HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for communications oversight of key product categories and related brand messaging across all media platforms ensuring that key, strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences. Works collaboratively with a diverse team to create and manage cross-organizational, integrated marketing strategies: partner with Product Development, Sales and Engineering to maximize growth of the business.
1. Manage and maintain company websites and brand assets/communications.
- a. Develop technically accurate and engaging content for marketing channels including website, product brochures, social media, email marketing, paid media, blog and others.
- b. Work in conjunction with the website developer to manage search engine optimization for the sites.
- c. Use website performance information to develop and modify appropriate tactics.
2. Project Management
- a. Plan and respect realistic deadlines: identify standard tasks duration, follow-up with the specified parties to make sure the work is done on time, adjust the schedule if a problem occurs
- b. Coordinate with various suppliers/participants: obtain the requested information from the various suppliers/participants, make sure the communication is appropriate between all parties
- c. Problem-solving: resolve any issues that might occur (communication, delivery, missing information problems, etc.)
- d. Project types: certification process, new distributors setup, new product development, rebranding, etc.
3. Assist with public relations activities.
- a. Write and distribute press releases.
- b. Develop and maintain relations with media contacts.
- c. Research and coordinate editorial byline opportunities with appropriate industry-related publications.
4. Event planning: Make all appropriate reservations for every participant (hotel rooms, venue, suppliers, etc.), event logistics, booth setup, lead generation management, review of the event
5. Prepare and format reports using data gathering techniques and established tracking standards.
6. Record monthly Google Analytics reports of Cryopak and NexKemia web activities.
7. Collaborate with General Managers and Sales Vice Presidents to develop sales presentations and provide reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
1. Good analytical skills.
2. Ability to work under pressure (handle multiple tasks and priorities).
3. Good organization skills.
4. Self-motivated / self-directed.
5. Detail-oriented.
6. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART (Competencies):
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent.
- 2+ years related experience, ideally in business-to-business marketing.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred).
- Google Analytics
- WordPress
