Marketing Coordinator

North Equities is a Marketing Firm challenging the traditional methods of marketing in the public markets space. With the recent influx of investors rallying to social media for discussions and community we charge toward them head-on putting public companies in front of them.

Position Summary/Objective:

North Equities is looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team! As a Marketing Coordinator, your main goal is to create, write, edit and launch social media engaging content on various social medial platforms including Reddit, Twitter, Telegram, Linkedin, and Discord. In charge of facilitating posting, PR, social media, and marketing content to create brand awareness and community engagement across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing client’s awareness from social media presence on all platforms, maintaining posting and staying up to date with any press releases they issue, and creating informed, eye-catching, and engaging posts.
• Understand and stay up to date with market trends and current sentiment on social media
• Providing support to the sales team by creating sales materials, tracking leads, and coordinating sales meetings and presentations
• Manage communication within communities; engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.
• Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, products, and services
• Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics.
• Develop and manage social media calendar and content strategy for our clients, and execute against it on all social media platforms
• Support the development of marketing automation for campaign management and reporting.
• Collaborating with Account Managers to understand their specific reporting needs and the goals of their client relationships
• Ensuring that reports are accurate, well-organized, and visually appealing

Requirements:

• Should have a relevant diploma or certificate in communications, marketing, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Reddit, Discord, Telegram, Linkedin, YouTube, etc.), functionality, and best practices.
• Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while making decisions about key priorities.
• Success in managing the delivery of great creativity in fast-paced environments
• Has good analytical awareness, fondness for dealing with data, detail orientation
• Good communication, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Must also have some familiarity with Google products (Google drive, google sheets, google docs, etc).
• Must have an understanding or the very least interest in the financial markets
• Expertise in planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management
• Familiarity with project management tools and processes and how to implement them
• A strong understanding of the media landscape and major trends in the industry

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
