Marketing & Communications Internship – Summer 2024

About the Role

We are looking for motivated undergraduate students to work with Pagaya’s Marketing and Communications team for a ten week program, spanning from June 3, 2024 through August 8, 2024. This important role is an amazing opportunity for someone hoping to gain experience across several areas of marketing and PR for a growing technology company. Responsible for supporting events, media relations, awards, brand strategy and digital marketing, this intern will also assist with department research and support tasks, including managing and upkeep of press lists, coverage documents, project tracking, and event production.

We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented marketer and communicator, with the ability to thrive in our fast-paced startup environment. Collaboration and excellent interpersonal communications skills are a must have. Sound fintech savvy or prior experience in the financial services field is extremely helpful. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a trusted confidant and has an overall passion to learn and grow.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with graduation date of May 2025.
• Available to work a full time schedule Monday through Friday. Working from our office in Midtown Manhattan Monday through Thursday, and remotely on Friday.
• Work authorization to work for a United States employer.

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and act as a trusted team member when handling sensitive and confidential company information.
• Experience using journalist database programs, strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively independently, as well as part of a highly collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Ability to project manage multiple competing priorities and excellent time management.
• A blend of curiosity, analytical thinking, creativity, flexibility, adaptability and the relentlessness to drive projects to completion.

Please note that this is an hourly position. The scope of this internship will be (40) hours per week and will not be eligible for overpay. During the internship, you will not be entitled to participate in the Company’s benefit plans and programs, except that you may become eligible to participate in the Company’s medical plan in accordance with the terms of the plan. You also will not be entitled to pay vacation, but may take sick or other time off in accordance with applicable law.
