Garden Living is a highly creative firm engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of custom and proprietary site furnishings including outdoor kitchens, fire tables and shade structures/enclosures.
We are hiring a marketing graduate to work in the area of Business Development, driving sales growth through multiple channels.
Qualifications:
The Business Development marketer will be a highly energetic, out-going, can-do individual with a great team attitude, excellent people skills, and a desire to grow with a fast moving company. This individual will possess a strong marketing mind and great presentation skills. This position will also require strong organizational and project management skills, and the personal drive to seek out and build new client relationships. A background in interior design, landscape design, or architecture will be very beneficial.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibility of the Business Development Marketer will be to drive sales growth. This individual will be responsible to rapidly build a client and contact base, and to pursue and close sales. The BDR will leverage all available selling tools, from direct contact through digital media, to reach, engage, and sell to an ever-expanding client base.
Specific responsibilities include:
Build fruitful working relationships with retail partners and provide sales support to them
Build productive working relationships with manufacturing partners to build referral network
Pursue commercial opportunities with country clubs, spas, vineyards, resorts, institutions, corporations, and multi-residentials
Organize accredited lunch and learns with targeted professional clients
Follow up professional leads generated from e-blasts, trade shows
Participate in trade and consumer shows
Develop personalized social media presence via Facebook, Linked-In
The BDR will require the following:
University degree in marketing
Excellent people skills and project management abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Extensive working knowledge of all social media tools and their appropriate use for contact development and selling
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,500.00-$70,500.00 per year
