Job Summary

The Marketing Automation Specialist is a critical player within the Demand Generation team that is responsible for owning Allvue’s marketing automation system (HubSpot), including lead scoring, attribution reporting, drip/nurture campaigns, and overall health and quality of marketing data. This role is key in contributing to the effectiveness of and decision making across marketing channels with impactful, data-driven recommendations and operational improvements.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys diving into and unpacking complex operational processes, has experience building and scaling full-funnel nurture campaigns, and has a proven track record of collaborating with marketing, product, operations, and sales teams in a B2B software organization.

Responsibilities

Manage Marketing Automation & Lead Database

  • Act as the primary administrator of our HubSpot instance and contact database including the creation and maintenance of workflows, lead gen forms, custom fields, marketing lists, reports, dashboard development, lead scoring, field mapping, and data flow management between core systems, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook), and Google Analytics.
  • establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation, lead and opportunity nurturing, scoring methodology, data privacy compliance, and database management.
  • Management of the segmentation, growth, cleanliness, and health of Allvue’s marketing database.

Cultivate, Nurture & Engage Audience

  • Build, test, and manage drip/nurture campaigns, monthly newsletters, CTAs, and more to grow the marketing lead database and nurture toward conversion while engaging existing clients.
  • Grow and segment marketing lists based on key behaviors – like past email engagement, website interacting, ad activity – and enroll in corresponding workflows based on their funnel position.
  • Optimize the lead and opportunity nurturing workflows across business lines to convert leads into qualified opportunities, and in-pipe opportunities into customers.

Measure & Analyze Against KPIs

  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations for optimization to grow marketing pipeline and progress overall sales opportunities.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards on marketing and sales activities within HubSpot, including marketing attribution, influence of various marketing channels on pipeline and won opportunities, and more.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, inside sales, and product teams to support strategic objectives, build reporting to analyze results, and recommend new programs and processes for pipeline generation and revenue growth

Requirements

  • Successful track record of building, executing, and measuring impact of lifecycle marketing campaigns using marketing automation systems in B2B SaaS organization
  • Experience running digital marketing campaigns with HubSpot, certifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce and its integration with marketing automation platforms
  • Knowledge of workflow and database management concepts, best practices, and data protection and privacy policies
  • Strong project management and organizational skills

Computer Skills

  • Skilled with PCs and Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Marketing automation (e.g, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua)
  • Sales CRM (Salesforce)
  • Google Analytics
  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Facebook / Meta Ads
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Canva, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) a plus

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience
  • 2-3+ years of marketing operations experience working with marketing and sales software and analytics
  • Background working in B2B SaaS marketing and/or sales organizations prefferaly serving the financial services area

  • The target compensation for this role is specific to the US. Your estimated compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, licensures and/or certifications and the local market. The estimated range for the role is $70,000 – $112,000
