Marketing Associate

• Conducting market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
• Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Planning and coordinating seasonal promotions, events, or information sessions
• Prepare and set-up tradeshow booths
• Assist with the administration of new products
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through the appropriate channels
• Making sure to select the right samples of the items to be sent out to customers

Requirements

• At least a college degree in marketing or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
• Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call

• Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)

Experience:

• Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
