THE ROLE

The Marketing Associate provides marketing and events support across a range of exciting initiatives in Australia and New Zealand. This role works under the direction of the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for assisting with a range of marketing activities designed to support the firm’s key business goals, including raising the profile of the firm, retaining clients and diversifying the product offerings. Marketing activities include, but are not limited to: assisting in the delivery of events, delivery of email and brand campaigns, analyses of marketing data, maintenance of the website and collaborating with global marketing teams to deliver exceptional in-person and digital marketing experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the delivery of in-person and virtual events, including participating in the planning process, vendor management, venue set up and providing end-to-end support across events held in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Coordinate the planning, recording and distribution of webcasts, including assisting in promoting the webcasts and analyzing the data.
  • Provide support across a range of Digital Marketing initiatives, including building and distribution of emails (e.g. event invitations, newsletters), tracking and reporting email data, with the goal to continually improve the digital experience. Liaise with the Global Digital Marketing team to track and analyze email/web engagement data, and take part in testing programs to enhance our digital experience.
  • Engage with the Digital and Analytics teams to record marketing metrics such as web and email engagement data, and share the insights through quarterly and annual marketing reports.
  • Assist in conducting competitor analysis and presenting findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing strategies by working with local stakeholders, along with the Marketing Manager and members of the Marketing teams across the globe.
  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns by utilizing an omni-channel approach
  • Maintenance of the Australian and New Zealand website, including updating content and conducting regular audits of the website to ensure up to date content.
  • Track and analyze website engagement data and liaise with the Digital Marketing team to continually improve web engagement metrics
  • Provide administrative support such as compliance submissions, vendor payments and liaising with external vendors.
  • Maintain email and event calendars, and assist in work in progress documentation including quarterly and annual marketing snapshots.
  • Support paid media, social media and PR efforts, as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business or Communications, plus work experience in marketing, events, sales and/or finance, preferably within financial services or related industries
  • Good understanding and appreciation of marketing and events management
  • Openness along with a capacity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, such as Compliance, Sales, Legal and Finance
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); ability to interact successfully with individuals at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, whilst paying attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to solve problems, think outside of the box and be open to share new ideas
  • Willingness to learn and be open to feedback

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Prior work experience in investment management or wealth management is a bonus
