Marketing Assistant

We are a full service video production and content marketing company operating since 2010. We work with incredible companies and brands from all over the world and have an awesome team that loves working together and making each project the best it can be.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join us part-time for up to 20 hours each week. This is a 3 month contract at $1500 per month with the potential for extension at the end of the term. We will work with you to figure out a schedule that works.

JOB OVERVIEW

As the Marketing Assistant you will work closely with our team and Marketing Director and assist in creating and scheduling content. Each week you will…

  • Meet with the team at the beginning of the week to get an update on what is happening in our world.
  • Come up with new ideas based on content categories for each brand
  • Organize and make plans for content
  • Create and schedule content to social platforms
  • Write engaging copy for review / approval
  • Understand different clients’ brand requirements (ie. tone, language, identity)
  • Meet deadlines
  • Engage with community on social platforms

Work Location:

You will work from the comfort of your own home and we will connect over zoom, phone and email. There may be some projects that require you to be on set but for the most part you will be able to work from home.

WHO YOU ARE…

  • You are an excellent writer and are able to write in various styles (ie. witty, serious).
  • You have a creative eye and are capable of making beautiful visuals with text and imagery.
  • You take direction well but more importantly, you make your voice heard and are a part of the discussion.
  • You take initiative and bring ideas to the table.
  • You are passionate about being a part of something awesome and are hungry to see growth in yourself as well as the company.
  • You are detailed in the work that you do, especially when addressing any feedback.
  • You have a good understanding of marketing and social media platforms. Particularly Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, TikTok and Facebook.
  • You are skilled with technology and able to learn things quickly on your own when necessary.
  • You have the tools to be able to work from home and communicate with us remotely.
  • You are very dependable and meet deadlines when required.
  • You have a positive attitude and you treat everyone with respect and kindness.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Canva
  • Experience with Later or other social media scheduling apps

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
