Āu Mahi What You Will Do
Join us in an exciting role as a Marketing and Outreach Coordinator within Te Kaupeka Toi Tangata Faculty of Arts. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in administering and coordinating outreach and marketing initiatives for the Faculty of Arts. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the Faculty’s active participation in UC events and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce promotional material targeting diverse markets, with a focus on Māori and Pasifika communities.
  • Coordinate a wide range of engaging events aimed at connecting with schools and prospective students, such as the annual Open Day, Information Evenings, and departmental outreach events.
  • Collaborate with a team of marketing, outreach, and recruitment professionals, while also working closely with the broader Faculty of Arts staff.
  • Potential for domestic travel to facilitate various activities.

Mōu Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have experience in similar roles including:

  • excellent intrapersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in creating marketing or promotional material
  • experience in coordinating events or outreach activities
  • active commitment to upholding the values, tikanga (protocols and processes), kawa (rules) of cultural practice and traditions as guided by mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri, and valuing te reo Māori
  • organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to develop and manage relationships with a range of people from different backgrounds

You will be highly competent, working with a team of marketers to support the Arts Faculty academic programmes in a professional environment.
