Marketing and Continuing Education Assistant – Burnaby, BC

Our four major areas of focus are dental implants, dental equipment – supplies, digital dentistry, and advanced clinical education.
Currently our Marketing and Advanced dental Implant Research and Education Centre (AIC) Department is looking for a part-time (Monday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Friday) Marketing and Continuing Education Assistant in our Burnaby, British Columbia office to provide support to various marketing projects as well as provide administrative support in the AIC Education department.
Marketing duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns and initiatives both for digital and print. This includes brochures, product launch and awareness campaigns, collateral marketing materials.
- Keep marketing calendars and schedules updated.
- Coordinate and maintain promotional materials, ensuring materials are well maintained and in stock.
- Attend courses, trade shows, seminars, and study clubs as needed.
- Editing, printing, and copying course content materials.
Continuing Education duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Arrange all logistics associated with the delivery of education sessions, including hands-on materials, meals, and documents.
- Keep track of who has taken out a Demo/Loaner Kit.
- Take registration of the course from Clients and Sales Reps; organize the list of doctors per course.
Qualifications:
- A keen eye for details.
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and administration skills.
- Highly proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using design software (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is considered and asset.
- Positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
