The Opportunity
Cyan Renewables has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for a strong communicator and natural storyteller who can craft compelling content, think strategically and take initiative. You’ll play a key role in shaping our brand narrative and amplifying our voice on the global stage, as we continue to grow our presence in the renewable energy market.This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Perth CBD office, Western Australia.Key Responsibilities

• Develop campaigns and source, create and distribute engaging and informative content to support them across Cyan’s communications channels, including our monthly employee newsletter, external website news and LinkedIn page.
• Develop new, and refine existing, branded marketing materials such as reports, presentations, brochures, banners, advertisements and event invitations (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator experience is desirable).
• Support the ongoing maintenance of website content to help ensure it remains accurate, up to date and aligned with our brand and messaging.
• Capture and edit photos and videos for use in communications content, campaigns and other promotional activities (Adobe Photoshop and/or Premiere Pro experience is desirable).
• Oversee design of branded company merchandise, in line with Cyan’s brand guidelines.
• Support Cyan’s participation in events such as industry exhibitions, employee engagement events, company Town Halls and staff volunteering activities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism or related.

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role– marketing, communications or related.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills– with the ability to effectively convey information for a range of audiences across a variety of platforms.
• Strong creative skills– to develop effective and well-designed marketing and communications materials and campaigns.
• Keen attention to detail– ensuring accuracy and consistency when developing all marketing and communications materials and campaigns.
• Effective interpersonal skills– with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills– capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong initiative and a proactive mindset– able to work independently as well as in a team, exercise sound judgement and confidently drive progress proactively.

Desirable Skills

• Adobe Software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
