Duties
Reporting to our Manager, Marketing and Communications, you will support our marketing and communications strategy and be engaged in the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives. To be successful in this role, you are highly organized, creatively curious, energetic and have a passion for storytelling!
Key Accountabilities As a trusted, conscientious, and confident ambassador for Figure3 you will:
Assist in managing our marketing calendar and coordinating all activities and monitoring deadlines
Assist with industry award submissions, event coordination, trade shows, conferences, media relations and speaking engagements
Assist in managing Figure3’s social media across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), community monitoring, analytics and reporting
Coordinate photography and video shoots with clients
Assist in the development and execution of local, national, and international campaigns
Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop story ideas consistent with our strategy
Draft original and engaging communications materials such as press releases, award submissions, website, and social media content
Support production of marketing and business development materials such as presentations, brochures, and templates
Assist in managing our website, including updating and publishing content on a consistent basis
Manage and maintain our image library and marketing resources
Monitor industry news and trends, as well as track our media coverage
Work with external marketing and branding agencies
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline
2-3 years relevant experience, ideally within the creative industry or design/build industry
Motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, with ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
Superior creative writing and proofreading skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Good understanding of the media landscape including strong social media fluency
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and WordPress; experience with Illustrator and Premiere would also be beneficial
Critical eye for visual and graphic layout, able to adhere to brand guidelines, with consistency of format in both print and electronic mediums
