Would you like to make a difference to students lives during their time at university? Are you interested in joining a collaborative, fast-paced team that prides itself on going the extra mile, delivering excellence, and supporting our students to make the most of their university experience?

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual to provide support and assistance across the marketing and communications functions of Worcester Students’ Union (WSU).  You will work closely with the elected Full-Time Officers and core staff team to increase understanding and engagement amongst our members of the range of services and activities we provide for our diverse student body. 

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling WSU’s social media content across a range of platforms, showcasing what we do and the positive contribution we make to the student experience. You will also assist in the creation of content and copy for WSU’s communication channels, including our website, social media, emails, and blogs.

We are looking for someone with experience in social media marketing, with proficiency in copy writing for a wide range of channels. Strong attention to detail will be key, as well as a desire to deliver communications and media that appeal to our diverse student body.

You will:

• Produce engaging and student-focused social media content to showcase WSU services, events, and campaigns.
• Work with the annually elected full-time officers to plan their social media content and ensure that information is student-centred and vibrant.
• Help coordinate the production of WSU’s promotional materials and ensure our marketing material is kept up to date within the Union and the University of Worcester.
