We are seeking a motivated individual to develop and deliver an effective marketing and communications programme to drive sales and income generation activities for the UAL Short Courses business, which delivers over 1,800 courses to over 16,500 customers each year.
The post-holder will be responsible for a specific brand and product portfolio and will lead on specified marketing and sales channels and/or projects across the business. They will manage a small team of marketing colleagues, delivering engaging marketing collateral, campaigns and web content to assist potential students in discovering UALSC and choosing their course, and maintaining on-going customer engagement and repeat business.

You will have significant marketing and communication, ideally with an e-commerce focus. You will need a track record in delivering engaging and compelling marketing campaigns across all forms of media, with the user experience and journey always at the forefront of your mind.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be managing all our branding and communications at UAL short courses. We deliver specialist creative industry courses directly to the public, so you need to be comfortable in a customer focussed environment.
You will support your team to deliver exceptional content across all owned channels, build strong branding and customer acquisition campaigns, strengthen SEO across UAL Short Courses webpages, and ensure all sales activity is optimised and trackable.
You will have a thorough understanding of current digital media, marketing channels, and tracking technologies, and an ability to innovate in the creation of multi-channel performance marketing campaigns. You will have the ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively to achieve short and long-term objectives.
