We have offices in Paris, London, Austin and Barcelona, and ask that you’re within a commutable distance to those offices, so that you’re able to come onsite with advance notice.

We are looking for a dynamic, thoughtful, and hands-on commercial minded marketing and communications leader for Fruitz. If you’ve been a part of a high-growth scaling organisation and understand the importance of driving business operations in partnership with marketing strategy, we’d love to learn more about you. This person will be responsible for the global (cross country) marketing strategy and one of your main tasks will be allocating budget in order to achieve objectives set at the beginning of the year. As you supervise the marketing team and its core departments, you will ensure the efficiency of marketing spend and the successful deliverables of cross country campaigns. 

We’re looking for someone who has deep experience integrating data and analytics into marketing practices and is able to clearly present information, justify outcomes and drive decisions for all operating markets. As a key leader within the organisation with marketing knowledge across global markets, we encourage your collaboration and expert contribution in conversations for the business, especially covering branding to help continue to effectively elevate the Fruitz experience for all our target users and audiences. 

What you’ll do

  • Overall Marketing Strategy
  • Establish with management teams forecasts and objectives to be achieved over the year
  • Craft and execute the communication strategy over the year based on OKRS
  • Define the key messages to convey and adapt branding aspect to specific countries
  • Define priority targets and operate on home countries as well as new markets.
  • Management of the Marketing Department
  • Hire, train, lead and structure the marketing team, and particularly Country Managers
  • Manage and supervise communication processes (financial, data, operational reporting, and product and technical requests)
  • Establish close connections the Fruitz marketing teams and the other Fruitz and Bumble teams
  • Operate Marketing Teams & Channels
  • Supervise and operate the execution of marketing campaigns
  • Negotiate the main cross-country marketing contracts
  • Co-build and operate closely launches in new countries
  • Overlook the referencing of Fruitz through its various platforms (application, website and social networks)
  • Budget Management, OKRs
  • Build budget according to the company’s overall OKRS
  • Distribute the budget according to countries and acquisition channels
  • Analytically monitor growth and results on different countries
  • With the help of the BI Team and Head of Data, interpret the results of the various communication campaigns and adapt the budget accordingly.
  • Oversee growth marketing to achieve revenue and user acquisition goals while maintaining the right M/F ratio.
  • 360 Degree Marketing Manager
  • In charge of in app communication and CRM
  • Responsible for the implementation of a CRM strategy
  • Validate the negotiation of key partnerships
  • Business Development and Commercial Growth
  • You will look to develop existing partnerships and increase the offering through planned strategic business development
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities
  • You will be required to manage a small team to deliver on the projects and ensure you understand and implement new opportunities that will benefit Fruitz.

About you:

  • You’re passionate about building the healthiest possible environment where honest, fair and healthy relationships flourish.
  • You’re an experienced senior leader who has experience managing a business and a people team
  • Prior experience working within a leadership team with full budget ownership; you have thorough analytic and financial appraisal and planning skills with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial processes
  • You can provide strategic insight and support in the development of organisational policies, defining goals, setting targets and performance evaluation
  • You’ve worked in a variety of organisations at different stages of growth, preferably in 0-1 environments where you’ve directly contributed to the growth and expansion of the operations into global markets
  • You’re a generalist who has experience across core areas of marketing as a whole – with enough depth and breadth to provide strategic insight, direction, coaching and execution to each specialty vertical
  • You are commercially minded and can speak to marketing decisions supported by data
