As the Canada Marketing Analyst, you will support both the B2C Marketing Manager and B2B Marketing Manager in developing and executing both Consumer and Commercial Road sector strategies in Canada through both direct and indirect lubricants channels.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage B2B and B2C OEM marketing programs and promotions in alignment with the broader N.A. marketing strategy

  • Responsible for a portion of the B2B and B2C marketing budget, including measurement of spend effectiveness to prioritize spend on highest return investments

  • Execute the B2B social media strategy with a focus on LinkedIn to increase Lubricants thought leadership profile in Canada

  • Develop the tradeshow and event strategy for Canada for B2B & B2C, as a key lever for brand awareness and lead generation

  • Act as Marketing Sustainability focal for Lubricants Canada, including educating sales teams on our sustainability CVP’s and development of all customer communications and sales material

  • Order and procure product tags, labels, decals and branded merchandise for customers and distributors

  • Administer ad hoc customer and vendor payments through our 3rd party invoice payment vendor

  • Create various product and services sales collateral, including brochures, sell sheets and presentations, working closely with sales, technical and creative teams

  • Deploy monthly Distributor eNewsletter to keep our Distributors informed on national promotions, CVP and portfolio changes and market insights

  • Manage lead generation activities through both external partners and internal stakeholders to support and improve the Sales Pipeline

  • Accomplish the Amazon.ca account from marketing perspective and help to launch new products

  • Progress various promotions and programs to enhance the sales CVP and differentiate from our competitors

  • Conduct competitive reviews for the Canadian market, sharing insights with the broader team and leveraging these insights to improve our competitive offers

  • Support new product implementations, including gathering insights from sales on potential sales volume opportunity, development of collateral and training sales teams

  • Manage content updates and enhancements to the website as the first brand impression for our customers and prospects, in order to improve thought leadership and optimize lead generation

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, sales or relevant line of business

  • Thorough understanding of the current lubricants market and its challenges would be a benefit, although not mandatory

  • Proven track record of success in commercial business activities, sales or marketing

  • Commercial mindset with strong business analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and with limited supervision, highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities

  • Strong project management and delivery track record

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, work with and influence diverse teams without direct authority

  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
