Location – Remote from Canada, Washington or California state. We are open to providing relocation and work permit assistance for international candidates relocating to British Columbia (Canada).
The Opportunity
This role is a highly visible opportunity to provide insights and optimizations that impact multi-million-dollar campaigns and whose work will be seen and consumed by executive-level stakeholders. This role provides a critical bridge between data and marketing and supports the entire Marketing and User Acquisition team by providing recommendations and data-based insights.
A Marketing Analyst’s Impact
- Lead marketing mix modelling to identify the effectiveness and efficiency of all types of media spend
- Manage, optimize and further develop the marketing dashboard
- Optimize marketing campaign performance through audience segmentation and targeting
- Lead measurement, testing, and evaluation of individual media campaigns; including in market testing
- Partner with analytics and marketing leads to establish routine reporting of key brand KPIs
- Drive analysis and integration of brand health metrics, including equity, social, and market share/customer segmentation
- Work with the data science team to design, develop, evaluate and modify machine learning algorithms in the context of solving marketing attribution and predicting campaign performance
- Perform ad-hoc analysis in support of stakeholder’s needs during the engagement
- Partner with marketing, application development, and analytics to automate and operationalize data collection, analysis, modelling, and publication of insights
- Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
- Communicate results of highly complex statistical models to stakeholders
Your Track Record Includes
- 2+ years of experience working as an analyst – specifically working with marketing data
- Strong experience manipulating and generating new data tables with SQL
- Proficiency in BI visualization in Tableau
- Experience/familiarity with marketing data such as Google, Facebook, AppsFlyer, Max Mediation, App Annie
- API management either directly or via 3rd party tools like Five Tran
- Understanding of CRM tools and integration into the marketing tech stack
- Applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Experience with large data sets, 3rd party data acquisition and operating in a cloud environment
- Passion for working collaboratively in a team environment to deliver premier solutions
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, with emphasis on presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience with commercial and open source statistical tools and analytics tools
- Experience in the Gaming or Entertainment industry an asset
