Two full-time roles are available immediately on a permanent basis. The positions are located within the Market Insight Team, part of the wider Strategic Marketing function of the External Engagement and Global Division. The roles offer the opportunity for hybrid working with some time on the University’s Streatham campus in Exeter and some from home.

Summary of the role

These positions provide a fantastic opportunity to join the University of Exeter at a time when our new faculties and structures are evolving to achieve our Strategy 2030. You will contribute to the delivery of an effective market insight function to ensure a market-focused and evidence-led approach to reputation, marketing and student recruitment strategic planning and decision-making. In this role you will deliver quantitative and qualitative market research services, alongside market and competitor analysis, to provide management information to support the development of the University’s strategies, programmes and services. You will directly support academic faculties and departments through the provision of market opportunity reports, support for market-led programme development, and competitive pricing strategies.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have recent significant experience of market research methods and techniques, including experience of designing and managing research projects. You will bring professional credibility with strong analytical skills, as well as excellent report writing, data visualization and presentation skills. You will have proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines, while assuring accuracy and attention to detail.
