Manager of Partner Marketing

As the Manager of Partner Marketing you will be responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring our supplier marketing cooperative (co-op) function. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of B2B business and how to build awareness around Wesco and our key supplier partners’ products, services, and solutions to satisfy business’ needs. You will be part of a marketing team who will manage day-to-day marketing co-op activities and operations including process improvement plans, program governance, budget and competitive analysis. You will help drive supplier engagement and overall co-op stakeholder feedback to ensure we meet mutual performance and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support strategic relationships and co-operative marketing programs with key suppliers, setting priorities, resolving issues, managing funding, and ensuring proper resourcing.
- Manage and coordinate co-op marketing activities for assigned strategic business units or areas, spanning market intelligence, customer engagement, sales enablement, market awareness, and demand generation.
- Develop, manage and measure co-op marketing campaigns in collaboration with other marketing, business leaders and our supplier partners, including evaluation of marketing plans and development of strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.
- Utilize Wesco’s project management system to ensure timely execution of projects and role clarity of creative department.
- Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and on budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes.
- Understand and interpret customer and sales data to identify opportunities in market and drive profitable sales growth.
- Research new marketing approaches, products, services, and solutions to identify future mutual Wesco and supplier growth opportunities.
- Support development of a strong marketing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing or Business Administration required; Masters’ Degree – Business Administration, Marketing Communications, Advertising, or Marketing preferred
- 5+ years experience in product, supplier or field marketing
- 3+ years experience in strategic business planning and/or cooperative marketing
- 3+ years experience in business to business (B2B) demand generation
- Industry knowledge, including suppliers, customers, and competitors
- Marketing strategy and implementation
- Strong creativity and entrepreneurial drive
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytics skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to influence others, meet deadlines, and deliver results
- Ability to navigate complex matrix businesses
- Ability to travel 0-25% of the time
