Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a creative Manager of Marketing & Communications in Fort Worth, TX. They will be responsible for the development and oversight of all marketing communications goals, strategies, and implementation plans for the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be an organized, analytical, effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
• Provide strategic direction consistent with corporate business goals and objectives.
• Ensure all services and equipment conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
• Develop marketing plans within budget requirements.
• Assist with the administration, coordination, communication, and scheduling needs for various marketing activities as it pertains to industry.
• Work with creative staff and other department heads to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages.
• Work alongside business groups to provide visual solutions across the Herzog organization.
• Assist with the editing and/or production of content for all marketing communications channels.
• Assist with scheduling and facilitating Marketing meetings, and the exchange and organization of various marketing content between business groups.
• Adhere to strict deadlines for multiple, simultaneous Marketing projects.
• Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, strategic communications, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least three years managing marketing teams.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong, versatile copywriting skills.
• Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
• Proven ability to work on multiple tasks or projects at various levels of completion.
• Ability to coordinate with outside consultants, agencies, etc.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
• Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen.
• Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the physical requirements of this job.

• Perform light work, occasionally exerting up to 20 pounds of force.
• Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
• Occasionally ascend/descend step ladders and/or stairs.
• Regularly sit and stand for an extended period of time.
• Regularly kneel, bend, and squat.
• Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position.
• Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals.
• Able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet).
