The Opportunity

KPMG is currently looking for an experienced Manager, Marketing Technology to join our National Marketing & Communications team for a 18-month contract role. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager Marketing Automation and Technology, and work with our National Digital and Social Growth teams on transformative projects that will play a pivotal role in driving innovation for our firm.

The primary objective of this role is to support the integration and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other internal systems and platforms. You will engage with stakeholders across our organization to communicate simple yet effective processes and workflows, thereby enhancing our marketing capabilities.

This is a hybrid position with the ability to work at a KPMG office, if desired. #li-remote #li-hybrid

What you will do

  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, IT and Digital and Social Growth teams to contribute the strategic direction of Marketing Cloud services;
  • Work together with consultants, service, and product vendors to implement and oversee projects related to the implementation of the platform;
  • Engage with stakeholders to document, adapt and communicate current and future workflow processes;
  • Perform quality assurance testing to guarantee system functionality and uphold data integrity;
  • Uphold data quality, integrity, and compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and other related legislation and policies;
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, integrations and related technology;
  • Provide training and support to end users on Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality, and the integrated marketing technology;
  • Oversee Marketing Cloud activities and configurations, encompassing email studio, automation studio, and journey builder;
  • Design, test, build, and showcase proof of concepts, data integrations, queries, automations, journeys, and reports when required;
  • Implement and manage complex automation workflows and customer journeys to support marketing campaigns and client engagement initiatives across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and the marketing technology stack.

What you bring to the role

  • 4 or more years working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud as an administrator;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform systems including Salesforce Sales Cloud to support integrations;
  • Demonstrated experience with HTML/CSS/Server Side Java Script, AMPscript, SQL;
  • Knowledge of report-writing tools and their functionality;
  • Experience in business process improvement, process mapping, or creating reporting tools/mechanisms;
  • You are detail-oriented with organizational and problem-solving skills, using best judgement practices;
  • You are inquisitive, curious and have demonstrated experience exploring the why behind decisions and existing processes;
  • You are able to effectively work in a team-oriented environment and independently with minimal direction, while maintaining productivity and timeliness;
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully collaborating with diverse teams or populations, employing a positive and engaging approach;
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is considered an asset.

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG. The successful candidate may be required to create, interpret and/or apply policies, practices, laws and and/or regulations during the regular course of their employment.

In British Columbia, the expected annual total compensation range for this position is $72,500 – $116,000. The determination of an applicant’s compensation within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition to total compensation, KPMG also offers a comprehensive, competitive Total Rewards program.
