Luxury Womenswear Garment Technologist Job Detail

We have partnered with a Beautiful Luxury Womenswear brand. This brand is known for their exquisite feminine cut pieces. As Garment Technologist for this luxury womenswear brand, you will work closely with the Creative Pattern Cutter, Design and PD team , to ensure beautiful, well-fitting garments.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Fitting design samples
• Offering fit and style solutions
• Working collaboratively to discuss fabric selection, best manufacturing or printing and dyeing techniques, and potential risks.
• Developed a spec library for all divisions and grades
• Lead multiple weekly fit sessions
• Working closely with Pattern Cutters and seamstresses to ensure acurate proto type is produced for production selaer
• Advanced knowledge of luxury fabrications and trims.
• Managed bulk test reports and wash care approvals
• Ownership of all fit comments

Requirements

• A positive attitude, with a collaborative work ethic way, is key
• A love and understanding of luxury or Premium fabrics, trims and garments
• 3 years’ minimum experience working within an Atelier or Garment Technologist within a premium or luxury Womenswear brand
