At UCA, creativity and innovation are at the heart of what we do.  Our legacy of educating eager and passionate artists, makers and thinkers runs back almost 160 years, and today we’re helping shape a global future that supports and nourishes talent worldwide.

The University for the Creative Arts has made a substantial investment to establish the Business School for the Creative Industries.  The Business School for the Creative Industries is in an exciting phase of growth, with new courses such as Fashion Forecasting and Data Analytics and Luxury Buying and Logistics planned for September 2024.  Existing courses include Digital Marketing and Social Media, Fashion and Luxury Business and Management; Arts and Cultural Business and Management; Global Marketing and Communications, and International Music Management, as well as our MBA, Business Management and HRM in the Creative Industries courses.

Our School has a distinctive approach to education that originates in its Creative Art School heritage, emphasising critical and engaged models of teaching, learning and research.  We foster varied cultures of thinking and creativity.  Our curriculum is innovative, enabling students to study and learn in inter-disciplinary ways. We are a consistent high performer in the Guardian League table for Creative Business and Management and we return high scoring national student satisfaction results.  Epsom is well known for its racecourses, close to the Surrey Hills (Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty) and with easy rail links to London.

We are now looking for an inspiring and skilled individual in all areas to join our expanding community, and to support and enhance the development of our profile nationally and internationally.  We are looking for someone who can build on and help expand our current teaching provision and our practice/research environment.  Ideally, we are seeking a colleague to join our team who can bring practical experience with active research interests in digital and influence marketing.  The candidate should have expertise with quantitative methods particularly in terms of social media analytics and targeting.   You will also have a strong interest in applying your analytical and data science expertise and research to the fashion and luxurious arena and related fields and be prepared to work collaboratively in cross disciplinary teams.

We are looking for someone who can build on and help expand our current teaching provision and our practice/research environment. Ideally, we are seeking a colleague to join our team who can bring practical experience in the ways creativity and influence are leveraged in digital marketing spaces as well as an understanding of research-driven, audience-centred strategy.  Our School’s curriculum is built on collaboration and cross-disciplinary engagement, and the right person for this position should be excited to work closely with others in their courses, clusters, and the broader Business School community.  The candidate needs to be flexible and has an ability to provide general business skills.

We are specifically looking for an individual who has the practical skills, knowledge, and experience to work with our undergraduate and postgraduate students to craft and deliver strategically relevant creative content to maximize influence with targeted audiences.
