Job description: Experience & Industry Knowledge

  • Minimum 3+ years experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role.
  • Strong experience specifically in the Food Service sector within FMCG.
  • Deep understanding of the HORECA industry (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, etc.) in the UAE, especially Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience in the Meat Industry is plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales and business development skills: Ability to develop and manage accounts, grow business volumes and margins.
  • Excellent negotiation skills: Ability to lead and strategize negotiation processes.
  • Good financial acumen and marketing skills to build profitable promotional plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office applications.
  • Strong communication, leadership, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Analytical and planning skills: Able to analyze customer development data and market conditions to maximize opportunities.
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments to solve issues (e.g., out of stock situations).

Additional Requirements

  • UAE driving license (mandatory).
  • Graduate qualification.
  • Experience managing business development agreements.
  • Willingness to handle sales & distribution activities across all Emirates in the UAE.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
  • Capability to monitor and counter competitor activities through market analysis.
