Your Role

As Junior Marketing Communication Officer, covering maternity leave, you will be responsible for working alongside the UK business to create solutions that have a high visual impact by creating a two-way channel of communication as well as supporting the strategic vision of Vanderlande.

You will be performing the following tasks:

Producing creative content by writing, designing, and gathering content to cascade to various channels of communication
Supporting internal communications and engagement to ensure key information is applicable and presented to key stakeholders and the business
Taking a ‘digital first’ approach by an understanding of all aspects of communications and engagement
General day-to-day support in the delivery of our local communications
Establishment of excellent working relationships with various internal departments to deliver expected communications requirements
Capturing business news to inform, educate and bring the UK community together both at our Warehouse and Solutions site and Airports and Parcels site

What we expect from you

We expect the following from you:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with proficient expertise in MS Office, especially in PowerPoint and SharePoint
Ideally 1-2 years of work experience in marketing, design, and, communication
First experience or a keen interest in design- or graphics editing software

(e.g. InVision, Final cut pro, and Photoshop)
Ability to work well under pressure and to multitask with constantly changing priorities for specific projects and tasks
Have high attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors or areas of inconsistency/risk
