Job description: L’Oréal and its Dematological Beauty division is seeking a highly motivated and experienced (Junior) Key Account Manager to drive sales growth and build strong partnerships with our online, brick and mortar, and hybrid retail accounts. - Account Portfolio Management: Develop, monitor, and manage a diverse portfolio of retail and e-retail accounts, focusing on hybrid, pure player, or both, in alignment with brand and LDB strategy.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Build and execute annual business plans for clients, cooperating on the creation of trade and online marketing plans that leverage growth levers (sell-in, sell-out, market share) and optimize brand profitability.
- Negotiation and Relationship Management: Lead negotiations with retailers and e-retailers, securing annual agreements on key launches, location, and stock, ensuring compliance with European commercial guidelines. Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key decision-makers.
- Performance Management (P&L): Drive the financial performance of assigned accounts, managing stock agreements with trade partners, monitoring contracts and invoices, and working closely with trade marketing to develop and execute brand strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Orchestrate and coach all account stakeholders, working closely with internal teams (Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, E-commerce Activation, etc.) to ensure seamless plan execution and consistent brand representation across all channels. Represent the retailer/customer internally within L’Oréal.
- E-commerce Development: Support the overall development of accounts within the e-commerce landscape, following up on ROI of online activities, providing client-oriented insights based on data analysis, and overseeing the deployment of online services on e-retailer platforms.
- Product Promotion & Brand Visibility: Prepare and present product proposals to e-commerce partners, communicate thematic sales events to clients, and cooperate on the implementation of new e-commerce trends and opportunities to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the Pharma (chains / wholesalers) industry or beauty and consumer goods industry for min. 3-4 years
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape and e-commerce best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple teams and departments.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
