Our Commercial Vehicle team at Hendy Group are one of the most successful and reputable in the retail automotive industry.

To support the continued success of this team, we are on the lookout for sales professionals who want to be part of something special. Whether you have experience in Truck & Van Sales, or experience in working a sales territory, we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will:

  • Plan a work schedule to identify potential customers and then qualify them.
  • Have a flexible working pattern, Monday – Friday only
  • Work a sales territory where you will find leads with the freedom to manage your own diary.
  • Help customers with demonstrations and ensure the customer has a licence to allow them to drive the vehicle.
  • Identify vehicles required and obtain an order including the agreed delivery date, and sell finance and extended warranties.

About You:

Previous experience in Truck or Van sales would be highly advantageous, however, if you have experience working a sales territory within another industry, possessing the below skills and behaviours will allow you to succeed:

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and build relationships in all situations
  • Experience in working a patch/sales territory (essential)
  • Resilience with the ability to work well under pressure and to targets
  • Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner
  • Passion for service excellence and an ability to continuously delight customers
  • Full UK driving license.
