We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Industrial Measurements organization at Vaisala in Birmingham or Bury St. Edmunds.

WHAT IS OUR OFFER FOR YOU?

You will be part of our diverse Industrial Measurement EMEA organization consisting of stellar sales professionals. Together with the team of four UK sales experts, you will ensure that our wide range of industrial customers gain visibility into their process, minimize emissions and energy consumption. Customers, external sales, marketing, and finance are your closest stakeholders. Some travelling is expected in this role as you will be participating in EMEA meetings and attending UK Exhibitions. You will report to Senior Sales Manager, industrial measurement sales EMEA.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Your main responsibility as an Inside Sales Representative is to understand the needs of our customers and ensure a smooth sales process. In your daily work, you will

• Act as the 1st point of contact to our customers
• Handle purchase orders and incoming sale leads
• Communicate with customers to identify sales opportunities and propose solutions
• Answer customers’ queries and send out additional information
• Work on quotations together with external sales and senior managers
• Take part in proactive sales by researching the industry, reaching out to contacts, and initiating discussions with potential customers.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• Experience in b2b sales
• Suitable technical background (e.g., education in engineering or experience from technical sales)
• Proactive and confident communication style.
• CRM Tools experience e.g Salesforce.
