The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.Marex’s Corporate Affairs team protects and promotes Marex’s reputation externally and internally by engaging with potential and existing employees, clients, and investors, as well as other stakeholders and the broader community.The head of marketing for Hamilton Court FX and Birchstone will lead and manage marketing, communications and events activities for HCFX and Birchstone. They will develop and lead the marketing, communications and events strategy that will support HCFX and Birchstone, which have recently been acquired by Marex. Working with the Marex team, this role will also oversee the process to bring both the HCFX and Birchstone brands in closer alignment to Marex.This individual will be a strategic thinker who is also able to roll up their sleeves and implement strategies and campaigns. You should be a creative problem solver, not afraid to try new ideas and challenge the status quo to drive commercial goals. This self-starter will be able to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, drive business growth and ensure consistent brand messaging.This individual will need to work closely with the senior management and front office teams at HCFX and Birchstone. This role will be part of the global Marex Corporate Affairs team. This means you will also have the support, backing and guidance of this global team and work in close alignment with Marex to develop opportunities to cross sell HCFX and Birchstone products to Marex’s clients and vice versa.Responsibilities:Strategy development:

• Develop and implement comprehensive B2B demand generation strategies aligned with overall commercial goals.

Develop and Manage Marketing Campaigns:

• Plan and execute integrated multi-channel, marketing campaigns, including digital campaigns, events and social media.
• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Develop partnerships to promote the services and the brand where appropriate.

Lead Generation and nurturing:

• Create and optimise lead generation and nurturing programmes to drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
• Analyst and optimise the demand generation funnel to enhance lead conversion rates and reduce friction in the customer journey

Events:

• Create a strategic approach client events – from developing a series of owned events to client hospitality – to better maximise the impact and ROI.
• Manage and support all external and internal events for HCFX and Birchstone

Content Creation and Management:

• Create engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
• Write and produce multimedia, multichannel content.

Email Marketing:

• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns as required, including writing copy, and managing email lists.
• Track and analyse email campaign performance to optimize results.

Business development:

• Support business development activities, client targeting, client segmentation, and tender responses.

Internal engagement:

• Develop and deliver initiatives to ensure that HCFX business is understood with Marex colleagues so that cross sell opportunities are maximised.
• Support internal engagement activities for the HCFX team.

Media engagement

• Working with Group media relations and external agencies, respond to media queries where required.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Use data and insights to optimize strategy and tactics.

Stay Up-to-date:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in FX markets and online marketing and measurement.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Collaboration and Alignment:

• Working with the global corporate affairs team, ensure that all collateral and activity is aligned with global objectives and global brand guidelines, that efficient processes are implemented and followed and that activity is delivered to a budget.

• Other duties as may be required or assigned.
• Understand and adhere to Compliance rules and how role relates to the regulatory framework.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA and other applicable exchanges.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
• At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
• To escalate risk events immediately
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this and experience working in financial services is desirable.

• An experienced professional with significant experience, ideally in financial services

• Articulate written, visual and verbal communicator, excellent copy accuracy and proofreading skills; fluency in English is essential

• Must be adaptable to different work situations and highly organised to prioritise multiple tasks and projects.
