For our Pharma portfolio of events based out of Amsterdam, we are looking for an experience Senior digital marketing executive to support our international events. 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, confident and inspiring marketer to lead our commercial marketing across the Food portfolio within Informa Markets, EMEA.

You will be an important part of the cross-functional marketing management team. Reporting to the Marketing Director – Food, this is a crucial role in the growth of the Fi and Vitafoods brands. Your recommendations will come from a deep understanding of the market through customer research and insight, internal data and industry trends.

An accomplished commercial marketing strategist, you will lead an operational team of expert marketers responsible for the generation of new leads, and the cross-sell and upsell of our event and digital products. You will drive the lead generation, commercial marketing and communications strategy across the portfolio. From messaging to data build, performance analysis and channel marketing, your team will own the commerical marketing and communication strategies and their delivery.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing for Digital Products who drives the development and launch of new event products through effective go-to-market strategies, price validation and testing. You will partner with our event and digital teams to launch new products in new markets and lead on the commercial strategy.

Familiar and comfortable working in matrix structures where functional and commercial leadership and responsibility are shared.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a commercial marketing and communications strategy to enable the growth of our global Food events and Digital Products with a focus on delivering high quality new business leads and new Key Accounts
  • Deliver a significant increase in new business leads and marketing influenced revenue across the portfolio
  • Own the client communications strategy to increase customer satisfaction and enable cross-sell and upsell
  • Partner with Digital Product Marketing, Event Marketing and Product Team to deliver on our marketing goals – drive new business, increase engagement and customer satisfaction and grow the portfolio
  • Partner with the Commercial and Brand teams to identify new business growth opportunities
  • Partner with our Commercial teams to improve our lead flow process and lead conversion
  • Partner with our Key Account team to improve Key Account communication and engagement
  • Partner with our Operations, Customer Service and Delivery teams to improve the customer journey and increase customer satisfaction
  • Follow and analyse market trends to position the products and portfolio
  • Help the team craft compelling messages across marketing channels
  • Ensure the team works effectively to implement strategies using the full channel mix
  • Lead the team in marketing excellence
  • Evaluate performance using relevant KPIs, data and feedback from existing and prospective customers

Qualifications

  • An experienced commercial marketing leader with 10+ years of driving marketing growth strategies leading to increased B2B leads (MQL’s) and Marketing Influenced Revenue
  • Experience in a high growth business such as a start-up, tech company or similar
  • Strong experience in people management and leadership
  • History of building high performing teams
  • Deadline driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Experience of developing a commercial marketing vision and driving activity to realise it
  • Demonstrable experience of demand generation in a high growth organisation
  • Experience of Account Based Marketing
  • Exceptional knowledge of online and offline channels and integrated campaigns
  • Solid experience of marketing a mixed portfolio of products
  • Analytical with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience of developing a test & learn culture
  • Experienced in market analysis
  • Good working knowledge of marketing technology and analytics tools (Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEM. Google Analytics also a plus).
  • Good working knowledge of salesforce
  • A great collaborator, strong in both internal and external communications
  • Works effectively with consultants and agencies for expertise, support and execution of campaigns

Additional Information

Desired:

  • Eloqua, basic knowledge is considered an additional positive. Other email marketing tools like Mailchimp, Adestra, Customer.io
  • Website Content Management skills, e.g. WordPress, AEM or similar is desirable
