Growth Marketing & PR Manager – c£45,000. Hybrid Role (2-3 days in office based Bristol area)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Clients’ head office based on the outskirts of Bristol (M5 junction 14/15) , this is a newly created role where the successful candidate will really be able to put their own stamp on it in terms of ideas and creativity re. growth. If you are an experienced Marketing, Communications and PR professional with a proven record of achieving growth for a company or division then this could be right up your street. This role is ideally suited to a Marketeer who is able to think creatively, challenge the norm and get excited about finding new ways of working

This opportunity is for someone who enjoys being part of a small business with a big vision, and who wants to be part of helping form Marketing – if you are wanting a department that runs completely and utterly smoothly and has been established for years and processes for processes sake then this will not be the role for you! The successful candidate will NOT be a number, as you will form part of a very small team of 3 within the Marketing function – the successful candidate is being employed for their ideas and their ability to help steer and shape the future of this business along with the Head of Group Marketing. The last few years have seen some big changes for this traditional values led engineering business, a really healthy and strong sales pipeline, which has now led them to this exciting point of being able to create this new role as “Growth Marketing Manager” as they have a vision, a BIG vision and need your help to get them there!

Due to the nature of this Clients’ business, you will be working with some extremely intelligent individuals as they really are the best at what they do in their field – they simply now need to make sure the rest of the world knows this too and this is where this role comes into action….

Key Responsibilities For This Role Will Be

• Lead the Marketing Communications and PR development and delivery across the whole company and each of its divisions
• Develop and own the Group Marketing Plan and all associated campaigns growing all of the different business divisions the company is involved in
• Develop and lead a new marketing team to deliver content across their website, social media (in particular Linkedin), direct and no direct communications , PR, Media.
• Appoint and manage external creative agencies to support content delivery and campaigns
• Be the Brand Ambassador ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms
• Assist with supporting a new CRM system and offer ideas regarding other tools that will benefit the business and create a better client experience
• Work with senior business leaders and client facing teams to provide in depth insight, guidance and support to help deliver business objectives
• Be an integral part of the growing strategy, business development and marketing team

Working at this Clients Head Office (2-3 days per week) amongst a small team of 50 others within the business, you will work directly with a passionate Group Head of Marketing who has been with the business for 5 years and has helped them navigate the world of all things marketing and strategy. Working with this Manager will be a great experience as he is not only really knowledgeable about the business and what they are trying to achieve, but he is also a really really great guy. We would describe this Client as a corporate business with traditional values led with integrity and intelligence.

In order for your application to be considered candidates must have the following:

• Marketing degree – or similar relevant qualification
• Clear and demonstrable experience of growth marketing, campaign development and execution – this can be agency or client side
• Experience in account based marketing and retention campaigns
• Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Word Press, Adobe Suite, Canva etc
• Previous experience of using and engaging with social and digital media including Linkedin
• Client centric
