Group Marketing Manager
This position is located onsite in either Plymouth MN or in Santa Clara, CA locations for Structural Heart
Our Structural Heart business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care; a performance threshold that by definition, guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.
Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the Stroke Prevention lines in the Structural Heart business unit. This role will focus on marketing strategy and launch for the within the U.S. This position will work closely with the sales team, manage a marketing team and will responsible for aspects of US strategy development and execution. This includes Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and, Pricing, and Materials Management.
The Marketing Manager shall maintain US product expertise for Stroke Prevention products/franchises, including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning.
The Marketing Manager shall provide on-going field support and will focus on competitive positioning and growing the market awareness for Navitor, EPIC and other products within the Stroke Prevention franchises including successful product launch and execution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maintain US market expertise for Stroke Prevention technologies, including in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
Develop strategies and plans to drive Stroke Prevention product awareness and market development.
Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessment.
Create and develop US specific strategies for new product commercialization.
Work closely with our Global Stroke Prevention counterpart(s) to partner on messaging and ensure our US field teams are appropriately trained with proficiency on product messages.
Support launch readiness by developing product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with communications manager to develop promotional collateral.
Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project team to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.
Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
Develop Plan & Update US forecasts and justification for Stroke Prevention product lines within the US and present to BU senior management. Help prep for financial planning exercises (LBE).
Work with clinical team to develop and drive strategic publication initiatives within the US.
Accountability
The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Commercial Operations and will have primary marketing and budget responsibility for Stroke Prevention products.
In this core Marketing role, the Manager will drive and be held accountable to deliver Sales, Margin, and goals for designated products.

$125,300.00 – $250,700.00
