Job description: Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:Develop and execute global sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including emerging regions.Set sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with company goals.Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and motivate a global sales team (including regional managers, reps, and support staff).Foster a high-performance culture with clear targets and incentive structures.Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, and performance reviews.Key Account & Partner Management:Build and maintain C-level relationships with major clients, distributors, and strategic partners.Negotiate high-value contracts and resolve complex customer issues.Work with Marketing to align global branding, campaigns, and lead generation.Market Expansion & Competitive Analysis:Conduct market research to assess trends, risks, and opportunities.Analyze competitor strategies and adjust sales approaches accordingly.Evaluate new business models (e.g., partnerships, reseller networks, e-commerce).Technology & Data-Driven Sales Optimization:Oversee CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools to streamline processes.Leverage AI-driven insights (e.g., predictive analytics, Gong, Chorus) for sales efficiency.Ensure real-time reporting on sales performance using Power BI/Tableau.Deliver strong and sustainable revenue growth while deepening client penetration and enhancing client experience.Represent the Global Markets Sales function in strategic internal forums and business planning discussions.Guide, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering talent development and knowledge transfer across the desk.Actively contributes to the development and implementation of regional and global sales initiatives.Maintain full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management practices.Lead sales coverage and relationship management for a defined portfolio of institutional and/or corporate clients, delivering Global Markets solutions aligned with client needs and market conditions.Originate, structure, and execute trades across FX, Fixed Income, and derivatives, leveraging product expertise and client insights to generate revenue.Actively monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice and trade ideas to clients.Maintain full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management practices.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience of 10+ years working in Global & Financial MarketsProven track record of success in Financial Markets sales, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a front-office role within a reputable financial institution.Strong understanding of Global Markets, including knowledge of trading platforms, regulatory frameworks, and evolving market dynamics.Deep technical expertise in Global Markets products, including FX, Fixed Income, and derivatives across asset classes (FX, Rates, and Commodities).Demonstrated ability to manage direct client relationships, originating opportunities and delivering tailored market solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Highly motivated and results-driven, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets in competitive environments.Strong analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and high standards for accuracy and execution.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong capabilities in preparing sales presentations and client materials
