Job description: The OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated professional with a passion for digital marketing and client relationship management to join our team in Barcelona. As a German-Speaking Google Ads Onboarding Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of our operations, specifically targeting the vibrant and high-potential German market. You will be responsible for onboarding and engaging with a portfolio of high-potential companies, providing the guidance they need to effectively utilize our digital marketing solutions. Your work will directly impact their success, as you build strong, lasting relationships, drive product adoption, and minimize client turnover. You’ll also have a keen eye for identifying opportunities for growth within our existing customer base, potentially helping to spot and nurture future “unicorns.”What You’ll Do
- Trusted Advisor & Campaign Strategist: Serve as a key advisor to new clients by leading the onboarding process and developing high-performing PPC campaigns. Your work will be strategic and results-driven, designed for both immediate impact and long-term performance.
- Proactive Engagement & Sales: Engage in a high volume of outbound customer calls daily to promote our services. You will proactively reach out to potential clients, understand their business objectives, and offer tailored, effective solutions.
- Driving Growth & Upselling: Take on the responsibility for increasing client spend and proactively identifying upselling opportunities. You will be instrumental in unlocking substantial opportunities within a market ripe for expansion.
- Operational Excellence: Create, maintain, and update a comprehensive customer database with complete information to ensure seamless operations and inform strategic decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree in Marketing or Communications being a significant advantage. You should have at least two years of experience in sales and/or marketing, with a proven history of client-facing roles, especially in high-stakes environments.
- Language & Communication Skills: You must be a professional communicator with a C2 level of fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken. You can clearly and persuasively explain complex ideas to diverse audiences and have strong presentation skills.
- Mindset & Proactivity: You are a self-motivated and proactive individual with a confident, determined mindset. You thrive in a goal-oriented environment and consistently deliver impactful results. You are able to work independently while also actively collaborating with team members.
- Business Acumen & Market Analysis: You possess solid business acumen and the ability to analyze market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and use this information to support strategic decisions. You have a strong customer focus and are committed to delivering high-quality experiences.
- Technical Proficiency: You have strong experience in managing customer relationships and improving business outcomes using CRM systems. You also regularly integrate AI tools into your workflows to interpret insights and personalize your outreach.

- Market Understanding: Possess a deep and clear understanding of the German market, including its unique cultural nuances and business practices.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate the capability to identify and target specific companies with strong growth potential.

- Relationship Building: Exhibit the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and to manage complex stakeholder structures, including those with multiple agencies or skeptical clients.
- Digital Marketing Ecosystem Knowledge: Showcase a strong understanding of the existing digital marketing ecosystem in each German region, allowing you to position Google Ads as a valuable, integrated solution and manage advanced questions about ROI and platform integration.
- Regulatory Awareness: Maintain a clear awareness of local regulations, particularly concerning data privacy like GDPR, to ensure compliance in all outreach activities and tailor strategies that respect and address client’s high focus on data protection.
