Job description: What’s the role?

• Develop and implement the overall business strategy for Suddenly, aligning with market trends, client needs, and company goals
• Lead efforts to grow existing business and secure new business with YOY % revenue growth from clients.
• Lead a team based in Melbourne and interstate to design and implement content strategies tailored to client objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and presenting omnichannel content partnership solutions that exceed expectations
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep the agency’s content offerings innovative and competitive.
• Refine content strategies based on data insights, audience feedback, and market trends to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
• Continuously refine content strategies based on data insights, audience feedback, and market trends to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
• Manage and inspire a team of content creators, including writers & designers, ensuring that all content meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Role must be based in our Southbank, Melbourne office.

Who are you?

• Proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of the content marketing, creative media industry, digital marketing trends, and how consumer behaviour drives the approach to content strategy and production.
• Ability to balance creative storytelling with a strong focus on commercial outcomes, such as sales, lead generation, and audience growth.
• Strong understanding of using digital analytics tools to measure content performance and optimise strategies.
