Job description: Are you an experienced retail professional with a passion for fresh food, everyday essentials, and delivering excellent service?Guru Merchants Pty Ltd t/as Pink Lake IGA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Store Manager to lead our team in Esperance, WA. We’re a community-focused supermarket offering a wide range of groceries, fresh produce, and household items, committed to quality and customer satisfaction.Location: Esperance WA 6450
Annual Remuneration: $ 76,600 to 85,000 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and continuity.
• Track sales, manage expenses, and achieve sale targets.
• Manage store budgets, including controlling costs and maximizing profits.
• Manage stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely stock rotation.
• Maintain reliable availability of fresh fruit, vegetables, groceries, and household essentials.
• Plan and execute in-store promotions and community-focused marketing efforts to drive customer traffic.
• Uphold standards in store cleanliness, visual presentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor staff, handling rostering, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure all safety procedures and health regulations are consistently followed.
• Develop and implement store operational policies and procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a similar supervisory or managerial role in a grocery or retail setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Experience in fresh food retailing (fruit, vegetables, perishable goods) is desirable.
• Ability to work on Sundays, public holidays, and during peak trading periods.
• Hands-on, team-oriented approach with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.
• Long term and full working rights in Australia.
• Must be available for immediate start.
