FP&A Manager – Marketing

About the role

You will operate at the heart of our Finance and Accounting organization to lead budgeting, forecasting, actual reporting cycles, and oversee the support for corporate functions. There will be a focus on managing the integrity of management information and process improvement initiatives across the broader Finance and Accounting teams. The role may require occasional travel domestically. As our FP&A Senior Manager, Marketing, you will be a key partner to our Marketing organization as we activate experiences that bring joy to millions of fans globally. You will play a critical role in providing data-driven analysis to help define long-range plans, budgets, and forecasts as it relates to our Marketing spend. You will have high visibility, senior leaders lean on the FP&A team to accurately forecast the business and lead analysis that is used to inform business decisions

As the FP&A Manager you will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

About You

You will be an important partner for our CMO to manage our global marketing budgets.

7+ years’ experience in professional financial practice/corporate finance, including FP&A leadership

Ability to work well with executives, internal and external partners, and to influence across different levels.

Experience building financial models and presenting to a non-finance audience.

Advanced skills in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Google Sheets.

Experience using NetSuite, Adaptive, or other enterprise software.

A day in the life

• Develop frameworks and maintain long-term company financial models to inform strategy and capital allocation for our entire Marketing organization.
• Work directly with our CMO to manage our marketing budget. Create insights to aid the strategy of our marketing organization.
• Lead the relationship with multiple Marketing leaders across Emerging Markets, Events, Creative, and Brand to develop ideas into robust business plans.
• Collaborate with other FP&A members to actively plan and manage marketing spend related to SVOD, Theatrical, Collectibles, and Games
• Build models to accurately forecast marketing spend and key top of funnel metrics for our subscription business (LTV, CAC, etc.), guide the deployment of media spend as we expand internationally
• Design, implement and improve processes related to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis in our high growth business; perform actuals to budget variance analysis and collaborate with Accounting team to ensure integrity of financial reporting
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to create systems
