Your role:

At Cognizant we help our clients engineer modern businesses. We’re seeking a dynamic and seasoned marketing professional to lead our Benelux Marketing Team. As the Associate Director of Field Marketing, you will be responsible for developing a digital first marketing strategy and set of programs that elevate the Cognizant brand and drive incremental demand for our Benelux business.

As the leader of the Benelux Field Marketing team, you will own the Marketing strategy and Go to Market plan that delivers exceptional programs from client awareness, engagement through to in region activation & pipeline creation.

Reporting to the Field Marketing Director for Northern Europe, you & your team will be closely aligned with the Benelux Commercial leadership team.

Critical elements of your role include:

  • Brand Strategy – aligning the global brand strategy with the local requirements, ensuring the brand is coherently, consistently, and concisely communicated across all customer touchpoints.
  • Growth Marketing – look at things with an innovative, non-traditional, and analytical marketing lens to define and execute demand programs partnering closely with Commercial and Service Line teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer growth through integrated brand awareness and demand programs that engage and motivates our target audiences. You will evangelize the marketing strategy internally and coordinate execution of the go-to-markets plan across all inbound and outbound channels and touchpoints including web, email/CRM, SEO, SEM, Social, PR, digital marketing, demand programs, client experiences, events, and other channels.
  • Collaborate and lead across the organization, partnering closely with Client Partners, Service Line Practices, Partners, Functional Marketing groups and other stakeholders. Your team will define the marketing mix and guide a broad set of marketing support functions including campaign marketing, digital marketing, partner marketing, content, and brand.
  • Deepen relationships and develop local marketing plans for Benelux with key partners, nurturing existing relationships with key partners, aligning on mutual goals, and driving adoption through a variety of co-marketing efforts.

You will be responsible for several industries and work closely with the local Industry commercial teams in the region.

  • Marketing leadership – as the leader for the Benelux Marketing organization you will coordinate relevant internal briefings, marketing updates, sharing of best practices and key results. You will also provide leadership and influence over other matrixed marketing functions in support of the Benelux region.
  • Measure success – together with the Marketing Director you will define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of field programs and initiatives. You will be familiar with key marketing KPI’s & use same to assess & modify campaigns on an ongoing basis.

Planning and budgeting – together with the Marketing Director for Northern Europe you will plan and manage all aspects of the marketing budget including business case driven investment plans.

What you will bring to the team:

  • At least 10 years relevant experience within fast-growing, B2B technology services-led companies. You will have at least 3 years people management experience. Experience in the Professional Managed Services space is a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing enterprise growth marketing strategies, including inbound, SEO, SEM, paid digital, sponsorships and content marketing (white papers, case studies, webinars, blogging, etc.), demand generation and client activation.
  • Proven experience in marketing technology utilization, including marketing automation, as a key part of delivering and measuring marketing programs.
  • An analytical mindset with strong communication skills. You can clearly communicate results and impact.
  • Self-starter organized and self-motivated with the ability to define team goals and prioritize you & your team’s work.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong English and Dutch language skills.
